New Etna Green Bar Seeks Alcohol License

Posted
The Kosciusko County Alcohol and Tobacco Commission approved seven liquor license renewals Thursday but postponed a new license for lack of paperwork.
The new license is for Lyle Faulkner II, who plans to open George’s Pub in Etna Green in August. He said he’s doing a complete remodel of the steakhouse and bar which should finish by July.
The license issue was postponed because he didn’t have an affidavit of compliance to bring to the meeting since renovations aren’t completed yet.
Faulkner, known to many as George, is the owner of the Etna Elevator and George’s Grain Farm Inc.
The commission also approved a renewal for United Deli, Pierceton, which had been given a tobacco sign violation with a $125 fine. The renewal was postponed from last month since no one representing the business had attended the meeting.
The commission renewed licenses for the following businesses with no violations: Leesburg Liquors, Leesburg; Jimmy’s Restaurant and Lounge, North Webster; Ye Olde Pub, North Webster; Stacy’s, Leesburg; Time Out Inn, Warsaw; and Village Pantry #5415, Warsaw.
