New Drug Task Force Nabs Four

New Drug Task Force Nabs FourThere is a new task force combatting drugs in Kosciusko County called NET 43 and it’s made its first arrests.

NET 43 is a multi-jurisdictional task force made up of members of the Indiana State Police, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, and Warsaw and Winona Lake police departments, according to a news release from the ISP.

An investigation that started from a citizen complaint led to a search warrant being served at 121 E. Main St., Atwood, around noon Wednesday. This warrant resulted in the seizure of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, the release states.





Ryan Truex-Volitch, 28, Atwood, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.

Robin Truex, 56, Atwood, was arrested on a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance.

Mandy Fleming, 43, Mishawaka, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance. Fleming also was arrested on a warrant out of St. Joseph County.

Also arrested as a result of the investigation was Ronald Truex, 55, Atwood. He was arrested on preliminary charges of habitual traffic violator – life, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of a synthetic drug or lookalike substance and maintaining a common nuisance.

All four suspects arrested were taken to the Kosciusko County Jail.
