ANDERSON - Neville H. Dickerson, 76, Anderson, died June 30, 2009, after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 21, 1932, in Shelburn, to Gene and Florence Chastain Dickerson. He married Anita Wills, who survives.
He was a graduate of Shelburn High and Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He owned Dickerson Funeral Home, Silver Lake, for 23 years. He lived in Anderson the past 30 years.
Also surviving are a son, Bill Dickerson, Anderson; two daughters, Lisa (and spouse Doug) Carroll, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Amy Lozano (and companion Mike Harris), Anderson; six grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Dickerson, Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by a son and three brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, Anderson, with Doug Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Walk Cemetery with military rites by members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 266.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
