ALBION - Nellis Don Kunce, 87, of Cromwell, died Nov. 29, 2010, from injuries suffered in a farm-related accident at his place of business.
He was born July 19, 1923, in Noble County, to Russell James and Floy Ellen Williams Kunce. On March 5, 1944, in Warsaw, he married Rosetta K. Snyder, who survives in Cromwell.
He was a lifetime farmer and president of Kunce Brothers Grain Elevator when they were incorporated in 1978. He was a member of Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, Syracuse.
Also surviving are two sons, Nellis Roger (and spouse Sandra) Kunce and James Douglas (and spouse Donna) Kunce, all of Cromwell; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two grandchildren and a brother.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, Syracuse, with Pastors Brad Cox and Harlan Steffen officiating. Burial will be in Indian Village Cemetery, near Cromwell.
Calling is from 9 a.m. to 1p.m. Friday at the church.
