BOURBON — Neil W. Fribley 53, of Schererville, passed away March 2, 2019, unexpectedly.
Neil was born the son of Carl Eugene and Evelyn Lucille Hoffman Fribley on April 15, 1965, in Kosciusko County. He had lived in the Warsaw area in his earlier years, then New York, Chicago, Crown Point and Schererville.
Neil was a 1983 graduate of Warsaw Community High School and he continued his education at University of Indianapolis, graduating in 1987, and was a two-star athlete; then attended Harvard University to continue his studies for his career as a self-employed investment banking consultant.
Neil loved his children and nieces and nephews, fantasy football, Chicago Bears, Notre Dame, NASCAR, golfing and fishing. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by his fiancée, Kimberly, daughter Nina and son Johnathon, all of Schererville. Also surviving are his sisters: Cinthia (and Michael) O’Dowd of Indianapolis; Christina (and Randy) Minnicus of Denver, Colo.; and Cathrine (and Kenneth) Foltz of Milford; and his brother, Gary (and Linda) Fribley of (Atwood) Warsaw.
Preceding in death were his parents, infant brother Thomas, nephew Lance Cpl. David Fribley and niece Chasity Foltz.
The family will receive Monday, March 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Etna Green United Methodist Church, 131 W. Broadway St., Etna Green, IN 46524. Funeral services will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the church, with Pastor Joe Lampton officiating.
