The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana.
The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a Special Exception request, #02-18-SU, filed by Kelly Ropp, 27185 St Rd 119 Wakarusa, IN 46573 along with Jill Henderson, Pam Vander Wey and Don Rohr. The request is for a Special Exception to allow a masonry business with retail by appointment to occupy property located at 1054 N. Main Street which is zoned R-1 (Low Density Residential).
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY:
A part of the Southeast Quarter (SE ?) of the Southeast Quarter (SE ?) of Section 25, Township 35 North, Range 4 East more particularly described as follows; Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section; thence North along the East line of said Section 285 feet to a cross in the concrete pavement for the beginning point of this description; thence North along the East line of said Section, 104 feet to a cross in the pavement; thence Westwardly parallel with the South line of said Section, 306.98 feet to an iron stake; thence South parallel with the East line of said Section 191 feet to an iron stake; thence Easwardly parallel with the South line of said Section 133.73 feet to an iron stake; thence North parallel with the East line of said Section 87 feet to an iron stake; thence Eastwardly parallel with the South line of said Section, 173.25 feet to the place of beginning, containing one (1) acre, excepting public highways and all improvements.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
