The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to conduct a Public Hearing on Petition #04-18-PLN filed by O’Reilly Automotive Inc. by and through its duly authorized agent, BFW Engineering & Testing, Inc. 500 South 17th Street PO Box 120 Paducah, KY 42002-0120.
The petitioner is requesting a Rezoning of Lot 1 of O’Reilly Minor Subdivision from I-1 (Industrial) to B-2 (General Business).

Survey of Part of the Southwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 35 North, Range 5 East, Nappanee, Elkhart County, Indiana being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at The Northwest corner of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 32, thence North 89 degrees 40 minutes 22 seconds East 200.00 feet along the North Line of said Quarter, thence South 00 degrees 06 minutes 09 seconds East 389.13 feet to an iron pin set; thence South 89 degrees 40 minutes 22 seconds West 165.00 feet to the East right-of-way line of Oakland Avenue; thence North 00 degrees 06 minutes 09 seconds West 131.80 feet along said East right-of-way line to an iron pin set; thence South 89 degrees 53 minutes 53 seconds West 35 .00 feet to the West line of said Southwest Quarter; thence North 00 degrees 06 minutes 07 seconds West 257.33 feet along said West line to the Point of Beginning, containing 1.681 acres, more or less
Subject to all easements, right-of-way, covenants, and restrictions, recorded or otherwise.
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee, Indiana, City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
