NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this hearing is to hear a Special Exception request, #01-13-SU, filed by Todd J. Nunemaker, representative for Bach Investments LLC, 911 Main St. Indianapolis, Indiana 46220 for property located at 952 W. Walnut Street, Nappanee, IN 46550. The request is for a Special Exception to allow the renovation of the existing building into a senior housing retirement community consisting of 7 1-bedroom and 5 2-bedroom apartments. This property is located at 952 W. Walnut St. and is zoned R-2 (Medium Density Residential). LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY: Lots Numbered Fourteen (14), Fifteen (15), and Sixteen (16) as the said Lots are known and designed on the recorded Plat of ADAM V. GUISS ADDITION to the Town, now City of Nappanee, Indiana and also a sixteen and one-half (16 1/2) foot vacated alley lying between Lots Numbered Fourteen (14) and Fifteen (15) in said ADAM V. GUISS ADDITION to the Town, now City of Nappanee, Indiana. A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered. All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
