NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a variance request, #01-13-BZA, filed by Justin and Mary Dale, 1006 Beechwood Dr., Nappanee, IN 46550. The request is for a variance from the Nappanee Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance to allow the construction of an accessory structure that will have a 23-foot structure height, which exceeds the maximum height, allowed. The Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance allows the maximum height of 18 feet. The property is located at 1006 Beechwood Dr. Nappanee, IN 46550 LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY: LOTS 69,70,71,72,AND 73 AS THE SAID LOTS ARE KNOWN AND DESIGNATED ON THE RECORDED PLAT OF NORHTWOOD THIRD ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION IN UNION TOWNSHIP, NOW ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF NAPPANEE, ELKHART COUNTY, INDIANA. A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered. All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
