ELKHART COUNTY – A Nappanee woman was taken to the hospital for back pain after her vehicle was struck and rolled over in Elkhart County.
According to a crash report from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office, police responded to a crash at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of CR 11 and Ind. 119.
The crash investigation revealed a 1995 Ford Ranger, driven by Dylan Bogaert, 17, Osceola, was driving north on CR 11 and was stopped at the intersection of Ind. 119.
The Ford then pulled into the path of a 2011 Subaru Legacy, driven by Kara Miller, 31, of Nappanee, striking the vehicle and causing it to roll over. Miller was driving northeast on Ind. 119 and had the right of way, according to the crash report.
Miller was taken by ambulance to Goshen Hospital for back pain. Bogaert was cited by police for failure to yield the right-of-way and causing injury.
