Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the City of Nappanee, Elkhart and Kosciusko County, State of Indiana, that a public hearing will be conducted by the Common Council of the City of Nappanee on a request for tax abatement on personal property improvement by U S Rod, 502 S Oakland Ave, Nappanee, Indiana. A statement of benefits is on file in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
The real estate was designated to be an Economic Revitalization Area pursuant to IC 6-1.1-12.1-2(b) November 5, 2018. A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Elkhart County Assessor’s office.
The manufacturer, U S Rod has requested tax abatement on the personal property for a period of five (5) years.
Said hearing will be held on Monday December 3rd 2018 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
Persons appearing at such public hearing shall have the right to be heard on the proposed project.
