NAPPANEE – Do you think you have what it takes to be the best speller in Nappanee?
Nappanee Public Library is inviting adults ages 21 and older to put their spelling skills to the test at a Grown-Up Spelling Bee at Ruhe 152 Italian Bistro.
The event will take place at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 4, with check-in beginning at 6 p.m. The event will be held in the glass room beside Ruhe 152 Italian Bistro, located at 156 W. Market St. Some refreshments will be provided, including a small appetizer buffet and adult beverages.
The Nappanee spelling bee is part of a countywide competition. Libraries throughout Elkhart County will each host their own Grown-Up Spelling Bee, with the winners advancing to the Elkhart County Championship Spelling Bee at the Goshen Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. Check-in for the championship will begin at 5:45 p.m.
Come ready to compete, have some fun, and see if you have what it takes to become Nappanee’s best speller! Families and friends are invited to watch the competition.
