NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF NAPPANEE PLAN COMMISSION
The City of Nappanee Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on August 8, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee City Municipal Center, 300 W. Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to hear Petition #03-24-PLN filed by Lamar and Marilyn Schmucker. The petitioner is requesting to change the zoning of the property from I-1 Industrial to B-2 General Business. The property is located at the northwest corner of Arnott Street and W. Market Street.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
Lot Numbered 4 as the said Lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of Amish Acres Auction Subdivision; said Plat being recorded in Plat Book 39, page 53 in the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana, Parcel No. 20-13-35-277-006.000-021
A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee, 215 W. Market St., Nappanee, Indiana. Written objections that are filed with the office of the City Planner of the City of Nappanee, or emailed at tnunemaker@nappanee.in.gov, before the hearing will be considered.
All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
