NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS

Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of Nappanee Civil City, Elkhart and Kosciusko County, Indiana, t hat the proper officers of Nappanee Civil City at 7:00 pm on September 19, 2011 at the Nappanee Municipa l Center, 300 W. Lincoln Street, Nappanee, IN will conduct a public hearing on the year 2012 budget. Following this meeting, any ten or more taxpayers may object to a budget, tax rate, or tax levy by f iling an objecting petition with the proper officers of the political subdivision within seven days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the provisions of the budget, tax rate, or tax levy that taxpay ers object to. If a petition is filed, the political subdivision shall adopt with its budget a finding concerni ng the objec tions filed and testimony presented. Following the aforementioned hearing, said unit will meet at 7: 00 pm on October 17, 2011, at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, IN to adopt the
