The City of Nappanee, Indiana will receive bids for the 2019 Microsurface Roadway Maintenance Project in accordance with the Contract Documents, Construction Schedule and Specifications. Bids will be received until 3:00 p.m. local time on May 13th, 2019 in the Clerk-Treasurer's Office, City Hall, 300 W. Lincoln St. Nappanee, IN 46550. Bids received after that time will be returned unopened. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at a regular meeting at 3:30 p.m. local time on May 13th, 2019 in Council Chambers, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, IN 47978.
The work shall consist of cleaning, crack sealing, and placing Microsurface for streets noted in the contract and all other work necessary for roadway restoration and as included in the Construction Schedule and Specifications for the 20 I 9
Microsurface contract documents.
Contract documents are on file electronically at the Nappanee City Building located at 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, IN or may be ordered via email by contacting the email address sstrange@)firstgroupengineering.com.
The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn on an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Nappanee, Indiana.
The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations.
The City of Nappanee, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or pmts there-of and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids.
