ELKHART - A Nappanee man critically injured in a traffic accident Tuesday died Saturday as a result of his injuries.
Edwin O. Miller, 46, of North CR 900W, Nappanee, suffered head injuries when the buggy he was driving was struck from behind and overturned.
The driver of the car, Ernest A. Moon, 52, of Bradner, Ohio, told a Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department deputy he was attempting to pass Miller's buggy when the accident occurred. When Moon pulled out from behind Miller's buggy, oncoming traffic prohibited him from passing and, as he pulled back into his lane of travel, Moon rear-ended Miller's buggy.
The accident occurred on Ind. 19, 350 feet north of CR 900N, near Nappanee.
