NAPPANEE - National Law Enforcement Memorial Week is held in May to pay tribute to the local, state and federal law enforcement officers who serve and protect U.S. citizens with courage and dedication.
Nappanee will honor those in law enforcement at a program May 15 at 5 p.m. in front of police headquarters at 301 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee. The public is invited.
Chief Mike Anglin, Captain Dana Hollar, Mayor Larry Thompson, and Nappanee Police chaplains Terry Tyler, Michael Peterson and Darrell Flaming will participate. The Goshen Police Department Honor Guard will assist with the flag ceremonies.
