A 21-month-old Nappanee boy died early Saturday morning after an accident at his home Friday.
Simon Hochstetler, 11169 N. CR 1000W, died at 2:25 a.m. at South Bend Memorial Hospital.
Hochstetler was found by his family Friday trapped under a large acetyline tank that apparently toppled over on him.
A bystander began CPR on the child who was then taken to an Elkhart hospital and then Memorial Hospital where he died, a Nappanee EMS spokesman said.
