NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St, Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a variance request, #06-10-BZA, filed by Joyce Evans, 208 E. walnut St, Nappanee, IN 46550. The request is for variances from the Nappanee Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance to allow the Construction of a 20-foot by 22 foot accessory building that will have total lot coverage of 33 percent and will have a 13-1/2 foot back yard set back. The Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance allows 25 percent lot coverage and requires a 20 foot back yard set back. The property is located at 208 E. Walnut Street Nappanee, IN 46550. LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY: Lot Numbered Thirty (30) as the said Lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of HARTMAN'S 2nd ADDITION to the City of Nappanee, Indiana, said Plat being recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana, Subject to all easements, restriction, and right-of-ways of record. A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered. All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
