NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a variance request, #02-09-BZA, filed by Jeff and Jenn Wise, 658 E. Centennial St, Nappanee, IN 46550. The request is for a variance from the Nappanee Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance to allow the construction of an 18-foot by 24-foot deck that would increase the total lot coverage to 28.5%. The Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance allow total lot coverage of 25%. The property is located at 658 E. Centennial Street Nappanee, IN 46550. LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY: Lot Numbered Twenty-two (22) in Stauffer's Fourth Addition to the Town now City of Nappanee, Indiana; as recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, Indiana. A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered. All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
