NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NAPPANEE BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS The City of Nappanee Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a Public Hearing Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Municipal Building, 300 W. Lincoln St., Nappanee, Indiana. The purpose of this Hearing is to hear a variance request, #04-10-BZA, filed by Patricia Miller, Trustee, Nappanee Methodist Church, for Bright Beginnings Preschool, 301 E. Market Street., Nappanee, IN 46550. The request is for variances from the Nappanee Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance to allow the construction of an additional ground sign on the property where more then one sign is located. The Unified Zoning and Subdivision Control Ordinance allows one sign per property. The property is located at 301 E. Market Street Nappanee, IN 46550. LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPERTY: Lot Three Hundred Thirty Four (334) as the said Lot is known and designated on the recorded Plat of HARTMAN BROTHER'S ADDITION to Nappanee; said Plat being recorded in Deed Record 67, page 547 of the records in the office of the Recorder of Elkhart County, State of Indiana. A copy of such proposal is on file in the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee. Written objections that are filed with the office of the Zoning Administrator of the City of Nappanee before the hearing will be considered. All concerned citizens will be offered the right to speak and voice their comment at the Public Hearing. The Public Hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.
