NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given to the citizens of the City of Nappanee, Elkhart and Kosciusko County, State of Indiana, that a public hearing will be conducted by the Common Council of the City of Nappanee on a request for tax abatement on both real property and personal property improvement by Aluminum Trailer Company, Part of the Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4) of Section 26, Township 35 North, Range 4 East, Situate in Locke Township, Elkhart County, State of Indiana, A statement of benefits is on file in the Clerk-Treasurer’s Office, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana. The real estate was designated to be an Economic Revitalization Area pursuant to IC 6-1.1-12.1-l on October 3, 2016. A description of the affected area is available and can be inspected in the Elkhart County Assessors office. The real estate owner, Aluminum Trailer Company, has requested tax abatement on the property for a period of ten (10) years. The manufacturer, Aluminum Trailer Company, has requested tax abatement on the personal property located on the real estate for a period of ten (10) years. Said hearing will be held on Monday October 17, 20016 at 7:00 PM in the Council Chambers at the Nappanee Municipal Center, 300 West Lincoln Street, Nappanee, Indiana.
