ROCHESTER - Naomi R. Shirk, 34, of 749 W. CR 650N, Rochester, died at 9:13 a.m. March 17, 2008, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
She was born Aug. 28, 1973, in Wakarusa, to Harry M. and Miriam Ramer Weaver, who survive in Argos. On Sept. 10, 1998, in Marshall County, she married Titus K. Shirk, who survives.
Moving to Rochester from the Argos area in 1999, she was a homemaker and a member of Old Order Mennonite Church.
Also surviving are a son, Harlan Shirk; five daughters, Delores, Minerva, Ruthann, Kathleen and Anita Shirk; five sisters: Martha (and spouse LaVern) Martin and Rachel (and spouse Elson) Martin, both of Rochester; Eunice (and spouse Orvie) Ramer, Wakarusa; and Rhoda and Joanna Weaver, both of Argos; and four brothers, Jonathan (and spouse Margaret) Weaver, Tippecanoe, and Nathan (and wife Minerva) Weaver, Mathew (and spouse Waneta) Weaver and Andrew (and spouse Alice) Weaver, all of Argos.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Tippecanoe Old Order Mennonite Church, Rochester, with Mark Ramer officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Old Order Mennonite Cemetery.
Calling is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the family residence.
