Nancy Virginia Jones, 66, of 1206 Riverwood Ranch Road, Warsaw, died at 3:16 p.m. Jan. 11, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor, Warsaw.
She was born Oct. 12, 1943, in Marion, to Joseph and Patricia Wimmer Pfeiffer. On April 14, 1962, in Fort Lewis, Wash., she married Stephen A. Jones, who survives.
Living in Warsaw and Leesburg most of her life, she was a secretary for Lesco, Leesburg, and was a homemaker. She attended Warsaw Community Church, Warsaw. She had a love of water, living on Lake Tippecanoe most of her life but her greatest love was her grandkids.
Also surviving are three sons: Kevin (and spouse Lori) Jones, Fishers; Kenneth (and spouse Kelly) Jones, Vernon, Fla.; and Patrick (and spouse Dianna) Jones, Claypool; a daughter, Jennifer (and spouse Jon) Cook, Mentone; a sister, Linda Gates, Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.; a brother, Stan Pfeiffer, Fort Wayne; and seven grandchildren: Scott, Brooke and Mitchell Jones, Fishers; Emerson and Ian Jones, Claypool; and Brody and Hunter Cook, Mentone.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, 2290 Provident Court, Warsaw, with Pastor Denny Wilson officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
