AKRON - Nancy M. Spore, 71, of 320 W. Main St., Warsaw, went to be with her Abba Father in Heaven at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 26, 2011, in Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
She was born Feb. 23, 1939, in Vincennes, to Louis D. and Beatrice S. Grimes Grigsby. On April 20, 1957, in Vincennes, she married Donald R. Spore, who died in 2004.
She lived in Warsaw for two years after four years in Mentone after 36 years in Silver Lake. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Vincennes, in 1956. She worked in food service at several locations in Warsaw, which included Rozella Ford Golf Course, Elk's Lodge and Noa Noa. She attended Faith Outreach Church, Rochester.
Surviving are a son, Daniel (and spouse Diane) Spore, Athens; a daughter, Diane (and spouse Brent) Romine, Mentone; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sue McKee
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Faith Outreach Church, Rochester, with Pastors Steve Holm and Dan Mundt officiating.
Calling is one hour prior to the service Sunday at the church.
Earl-Love Funeral Home, 811 E. Rochester St., Akron is in charge of arrangements.
