SYRACUSE - Nancy Jane Hall Shock, 48, of Syracuse, died at 10:25 p.m. Oct. 19, 2008, in her sister's residence following an extended illness.
She was born Feb. 10, 1960, in Bradenton, Fla., to Robert E. and Nancy Diane Dietrick Shock, who survive in Syracuse.
She lived most of her life in the Syracuse area and was a 1978 Wawasee High School graduate. She was a member of Vineyard Community Church, Syracuse, and formerly attended North Webster Church of God. She formerly worked at Miller's Merry Manor, Syracuse, for two years; The Papers Inc., Milford, for 10 years; and did babysitting out of her home for many years.
Surviving are a daughter, Kaylin Hall, Syracuse; a son, Kory Hall, Syracuse; a grandson; two stepdaughters, Kaylah Hall, North Webster, and Ashlea Hall, Seymour; a stepson, Michael Hall, North Webster; a sister, Deborah (and spouse Gerald) Conner, Syracuse; and two brothers, John (and spouse Susan) Shock and Gregory (and spouse Sandra) Shock, all of Syracuse.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Vineyard Community Church, Syracuse, with Pastor Kent Butcher officiating. A private graveside service will be at a later date at McClintic Cemetery, Syracuse.
Calling is from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Owen Family Funeral Home, Syracuse.
