Nancy Carroll Hatton Sideris, of Warsaw, passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, in the care of Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne, at the age of 89.
Nancy was born in Oakland, Calif., on Jan. 25, 1937, to Dollie Robinson Hatton and Eugene Carroll Hatton. On March 5, 1960, Nancy married H.G. “Gus” Sideris, they were blessed with 57 years of marriage before he passed away on Aug. 4, 2018.
Nancy loved to cook and had a natural gift for hospitality. An accomplished, lifelong learner, she attended college before honing her craft through various short-term cooking schools across the United States and Europe. Her passion became her career, for 25 years, she owned and operated Nancy’s Fancies Catering, and for 12 years, she was the owner of Mosaique Restaurant. She was also a dedicated member of both the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). A longtime member of Warsaw Evangelical Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed her volunteer activities at Warsaw Community Public Library.
Nancy will be dearly missed by her son, Peter (Treasa) Sideris, Columbia City; three daughters: Hilary Sideris, Brooklyn, N.Y.; Alexis (Kirk) Davis, Washington, N.C.; Dr. Lisa (Robert) Sideris, Santa Barbara, Calif.; and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gus; and two brothers, Lowell and Raymond Hatton.
Nancy’s life will be celebrated with a private family graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw and officiated by Pastor Aaron Klein. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
