MILFORD - Myrtle Irene Richardson, 88, of Milford, died Aug. 8, 2010, in her residence.
She was born Feb. 2, 1922, in Earle, Ark., to Frank and Rainey Linville Spears. On May 8, 1937, she married Willard W. Richardson, who died in February 2007.
She moved to Milford from Gulfport, Miss., in 1965 and attended Milford Christian Church.
Surviving are five sons: Wayne (and spouse Barbara) Richardson, Churubusco; Bobby Richardson and Bill (and spouse Lea) Richardson, all of Milford; Charles (and spouse Marty) Richardson, Goshen; Joe (and spouse Carol) Richardson, Lake Village; three daughters: Carolyn (and spouse Jim) Nelson, Chesapeake, Va.; Joyce Lashley, Warsaw; Patricia Whitt, Cherry Hill, N.J.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and three sisters.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mishler Funeral Home, Milford, with Pastor Stephen Leininger officiating. Burial will be at the Milford Cemetery.
Calling is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home in Milford.
