My Favorite Things Luncheon Raises Funds For The Beaman Home

Posted
My Favorite Things Luncheon is a new fundraiser for The Beaman Home and is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 20 at Christ’s Covenant Church, 2090 E. Pierceton Road, Winona Lake.

This event will be a fun way to connect with the community and share what makes our days brighter - sponsored by Warsaw Area Computer Doctors and Wildman Business Group; and put together with the help of Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy students, according to a news release from The Beaman Home.

The Beaman Home is asking local community members and businesses to buy a table of eight for $400. Table sponsors receive signage before, during and after the event and a speaking opportunity. Individuals can purchase a registration for $35 each.

Once you buy a table or a registration, you are asked to bring eight of your favorite things to the luncheon that makes you happy on your gloomiest days. The items can be something as simple as your favorite quote, a craft or something under $10 to share with the seven people who sit at your table; the eighth item will go to The Beaman Home to take back to clients.

Register by April 1 at thebeamanhome.org or email info@thebeamanhome.org for a registration form.

The Beaman Home serves Kosciusko, Marshall and Fulton counties with emergency shelter and outreach services for men and women and their children who experience domestic violence and sexual assault. Hosting fundraisers like this will continue to help the Beaman Home provide food and other operational costs associated with providing these services to victims, the news release states.
