Charley Thomas, 40, Warsaw, stood outside Short Stop gas station on South Buffalo Street in Warsaw Tuesday holding a "Honk For Muscular Dystrophy Association" sign.
He will be locked up in a makeshift jail at Noa Noa on Feb. 28. He is collecting funds to bail him out of the makeshift jail.
Thomas’ cousin, Billy Boggs, South Whitley, currently has a form of muscular dystrophy. A money collection bucket has been set up inside Short Stop where funds will be collected until Feb. 27 for the association.
