Murray Michael Graves, 63, Claypool, passed away at 9:01 p.m. Aug. 25, 2013, in Parkview North Hospital, Fort Wayne.
He was born Feb. 3, 1950, in Fort Wayne, to Murray E. and Mary E. Sheets Graves. He wife Candy survives in Claypool.
He was raised in Larwill, and graduated from Larwill High School in 1968 where he was an outstanding basketball player. He began working for R.R. Donnelley and Sons in June 1968, and retired in February 2012 after 44 years of service. He loved NASCAR, coaching and watching his son Chad.
Also surviving are three sons: Chad (and spouse Cara) Graves, Columbia City; Paul (and spouse Steph) Wiley, Spring Arbor, Mich.; Peter Wiley, Seoul, South Korea; a daughter, Jodi Langston, New Orleans, La.; two grandsons, Chase and Cooper Graves; and three granddaughters, Madison, Summer and Paige Wiley.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw, with Pastors Steve Conger and Cindy Gackenheimer officiating. Burial will be private.
Calling is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.
