Muriel Lee Cook, 89, a former resident
of Winona Lake, died June 8,
2019, at 5:32 a.m.
Muriel was born in Foochow, China,
on Jan. 26, 1930, the Rev. Charles and
Nina Culver.
Muriel married Norman on June 18,
1950; he survives.
Muriel is survived by her husband
of 69 years, Norman; two daughters,
Shelly (Glen Volkhardt), and Milei (Scott) Yardly; four
grandchildren, Brynn Yardly, Timbre Yardly, Carl (Jamie)
Volkhardt and Culver (Karen) Volkhardt; great-grandson,
Connor Volkhardt; and great-granddaughter, Yael
Volkhardt; many nieces and nephews; many, many
friends; and three sisters-in-law in the area, Karolyn
(Cook) Barrus, Judith (Cook) Swick and Shirley Cook.
