The clerk-treasurer for New Pekin lost her home in the tornado last week.
The Indiana League of Municipal Clerks and Clerk-Treasurers conducted its week-long educational institute and academy last week at Ball State University in Muncie.
The league collected $850 from the attendees and HR Unlimited Resources President Mitch Ripley and London Witte Group Senior Partner James Higgins each donated $500 so the total collected for Sherry Clem, New Pekin clerk-treasurer, was $1,850.
