The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department responded to a two-vehicle accident at 4:15 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Ind. 14 and CR 100E. According to the department, Joni L. Bowers, 25, Warsaw, was traveling eastbound when for an unknown reason she locked up her brakes and skidded left of center and struck a westbound truck with a trailer driven by Ryan J. Kolish, 26, Winamac. Bowers was airlifted to Parkview Regional Medical center and was in serious condition. Kolish and his passenger Lindsey M. Winter, 25, Winamac, were transported to a Rochester hospital. Winter suffered a leg injury.
