Mentone’s 8U Mudhens scored six runs in the bottom of the sixth and final inning to win the semistate title Monday night over Plymouth in Denver and advance to the Town and Country State Tournament. The Mudhens will play again at 7:45 p.m. Friday in Rochester. The team is comprised of Evan Bolinger, Brock Derf, DeOndre Hamilton, Reed Jones, Dallas Miller, Nash Miller, Zac Miller, Cole Montelongo, Matthew Owens, Blaine Sheetz, Braxton Yates and coaches Mervin Jones, Fred Miller and Doug Miller.
