Dennis Kostro chose to lay out his motorcycle to avoid colliding with a vehicle crossing East Center Street on Tamarack Street, Warsaw, around 3 p.m. Monday. Kostro, 70, EMS C27 Lane, Warsaw, was travelling east on Center Street when a vehicle pulled out in front of him, according to the Warsaw Police Department accident report. He had to intentionally wreck to avoid hitting the vehicle, which had left the scene before police arrived, the report states. Kostro was taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital by Multi-Township EMS in stable condition.
