Motorcyclist Seriously HurtA Colorado man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on the east side of Warsaw Wednesday night.
Warsaw police and emergency personnel responded to a 911 call of a motorcycle crash at approximately 10:45 p.m., near the intersection of Frontage Road and Eastlake Drive, Warsaw.
Responding officers found Laurence Reeves Provost, 21, of Pueblo, Colo., pinned between a state highway fence and a post.
The Kosciusko County crash investigation team members arrived and determined during the investigation that Provost was westbound on Frontage Road and drove his 2010 Harley Davidson off the north edge of the roadway, striking a speed limit sign, utility box and fence.  Provost was ejected from his motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Provost was airlifted from a nearby parking lot by Parkview Samaritan and taken to Fort Wayne, where he is listed in serious but stable condition.
The crash investigation team members stated the crash is still under investigation and are awaiting legal blood alcohol and drug test results.
The Kosciusko City-County crash investigation team was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Fire Department, Warsaw Police Department, Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and the Indiana State Police.
