An Akron woman died this morning after her car left the roadway and struck a tree along Ind. 14, near Silver Lake. Patti M. Tucker, 26, of South CR 750W, was pronounced dead at Kosciusko Community Hospital after the 8:30 a.m. accident. Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine said preliminary investigation indicates Tucker possibly swerved to miss a deer before her vehicle left the road and traveled 66 feet before striking the tree down a 12-foot embankment.
