Some creative scheduling has been employed to help get high school sporting events completed before previously scheduled postseason tournaments begin. In girls tennis, Tippecanoe Valley will host Manchester today in Three Rivers Conference action. Rochester will play at Valley at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by Rochester and Southwood in Akron at 10:30, followed by Southwood taking on Valley to complete each teams’ conference schedule. For the second time this week, Valley at Manchester was rained out in both baseball and softball on Thursday. The baseball teams will try again today, while the softball game was moved to Tuesday.
