Morality

Editor, Times-Union:

There was a challenge thrown down to produce an instance of a homosexual actively pursuing to berate and humiliate anyone who disagrees with their lifestyle.

Rather than provide my own personal testimonies, I will refer to an instance currently in the media.

Marine Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, stated in an interview posted on the Chicago Tribune's Web site: "I believe that homosexual acts between individuals are immoral and that we should not condone immoral acts."

C. Dixon Osburn, one of the top 10 national gay leaders, insists that Secretary of Defense Robert Gates should publicly admonish Pace. Arlene Isaacsen of the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian Political Caucus told CBS Radio station WBZ-AM: "It is crass prejudice, crass bigotry and brazen ignorance, and it's disgraceful to think that someone in his position would think in these terms."

Many homosexual activist organizations and individuals are berating and attempting to humiliate General Pace for exercising his right to free speech and thought. They are trying to get him removed from duty and will do everything in their "power" to make sure he is destroyed politically and personally. Does this qualify as one instance? Like it makes any difference. Global Warming is a moral issue and homosexuality is not. Tell me our society isn't messed up.

House Bill 1459 is currently in the Indiana House of Representatives, which is a hate crimes bill. If this bill passes, while it may be wrong to murder a child, mother, father or any ordinary person, it is extra-extra specially wrong to murder a homosexual, transgender, transsexual, trans-whatever the sexual deviation. A person who murders someone without the extra special homosexual immunity might not have to face the death penalty, but if they make the mistake of murdering a sodomite or lesbian, boy-howdy, look out, you are really in trouble. So if you are planning on murdering someone, make sure it isn't an extra special person who chooses to perform extra special sexual acts because you will have to pay an extra special penalty. Since sodomites and lesbians are extra special because of how they choose to commit immoral acts, does that mean that children, seniors, invalids, mentally handicapped, physically handicapped and the unborn are extra un-special because they don't have a choice? Is this hate crimes bill an attempt to berate and chastise those who disagree with the sin of homosexuals?
