NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF BUDGET ESTIMATES AND TAX LEVIES
Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of Monroe Township, Kosciusko County, Indiana, that the proper officers of said township. at 5306 So. St. Rd. 13 on August 30, 2010 at 6:00 p.m will conduct a pub lic hearing on the year 2011 Budget. Following this meeting any ten or more taxpayers may object to a budget, ta x rate, or tax levy by filing an objection petition with the proper officers of the political subdivis ion within seven days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the provisions of the budget, tax rate, or tax levy that taxpayers object to. If a petition is filed, the political subdivision shall adopt wit h its budget a finding concerning the objections filed and testimony presented. Following the aforementioned hearin g, the Council will meet at 5306 So. St. Rd. 13 on September 20, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. to adopt the followi ng budget.
