I do believe many people are unaware of all the planning and implementing it takes for a school to organize and raise money for needed activities, equipment and programs that help children both academically and socially.
There are many ways schools try and earn money. They have school fundraisers, such as book sales, chicken sales, bake sales and flower sales. They collect Box tops, Campbell soup labels, Pouch Brigades (collecting Capri Sun pouches) and many other ways but the one I am interested in talking about today is Our Marsh Fresh Idea Program. By shopping with your Marsh card you are able to earn points for your school that will provide opportunities for teachers to shop in a product catalogue and purchase items for their classrooms that inevitably will help the children. All one needs to do is sign up at www.marsh.net and put in your individual school’s code.
I would like to encourage everyone that has children or grandchildren, nieces or nephews at Claypool School to go on the website and sign up to help our school. Our school code is 49954. You will be asked to put in the 12-digit code on the back of your Marsh card and then every time you shop the schools is earning points, it is that easy.
If you have any problems you may also pick up a paper form in the school office. Thank you for your time and shop at Marsh and support your schools!
