An Ohio man was injured when his semi ran off the road Monday afternoon on U.S. 30 near Warsaw. Raymond Etgen, 34, Van Wert, was admitted to Kosciusko Community Hospital for head injuries and is listed in stable condition. Etgen could not tell police what happened after the accident, a Kosciusko County Sheriff's deputy said. The deputy said Etgen apparently blacked out as he was driving east on U.S. 30. The semi crossed the median and westbound lanes and went off the road near Safeway Door. The semi then travelled through a fence, across a yard, and hit a sign. The deputy said the semi travelled almost one-fourth of a mile off the road before coming to a stop. No one else was injured, and the deputy said the semi suffered only minor damage.
