The mother of a 9-year-old Warsaw boy reported what she believed was an attempted kidnapping.
The boy and two friends were outside a residence at Whispering Pines Sunday morning when a man allegedly offered one of the children $5 to get into the car with him.
All three children ran into the residence and the car the man was in sped away.
The man is described as middle-aged with blond hair and a goatee. He was driving an older brown car.
The incident is under investigation by the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department.
