Mollie Jane Wright, 86, of Claypool, passed away at 10 a.m. Feb. 10, 2013, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake. She was born March 6, 1926, in West Prestonsburg, Ky., to Benjamin Franklin and Arena Conley Rose. On July 27, 1944, she married Henry Bascon Wright, who passed away Feb. 28, 1989. She was a resident of Kosciusko County for the past 54 years, where she was a homemaker and a member of Free United Baptist Church, Pierceton. She will be lovingly remembered by four sons: Phillip (and spouse Betty) Wright, Franklin, Ky.; Larry (and spouse Becky) Wright, Warsaw; Lester (and spouse Rhoda) Wright, Leesburg; George Wright, Pierceton; two daughters, Elizabeth “Liz” (and spouse Tom) Keirn, Warsaw; and Henrietta (and spouse Jack) Bumgardner, Sidney; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Bernice Taylor Howard; and a granddaughter, Hannah Paige Wright. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Free United Baptist Church, Pierceton, officiated by Pastors Ward “Etsie” Allen and Alvin “Hoss” Allen. Burial will be in Sidney Cemetery. Calling will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
