A Warsaw man was listed in fair condition at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, after a mo-ped accident early Monday morning.
Joshua P. Burkholder Gerberin, 20, of Ranch Road, Warsaw, was riding a mo-ped on Parker Street around 12:14 a.m. Monday when he lost control of the mo-ped and hit a utility pole.
Gerberin, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the mo-ped and suffered head and internal chest and abdomal injuries. He was initially taken to Kosciusko Community Hospital and later flown to Parkview Hospital by Samaritan Air Ambulance.
The damage from the accident was listed at less than $750.
