At 6:02 a.m. today, emergency personnel responded to a mo-ped accident near 8347 S. CR 600W.
Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Chad Hill said the driver, Thomas Ray Edwards, 41, Silver Lake, for an unknown reason left the road and crashed.
Edwards was transported to Woodlawn Hospital in Rochester. Edwards had head injuries.
KCSD, Mentone EMS and Burket Fire Department responded.
