Joetta Mitchell has announced she is seeking the county recorder seat. Mitchell has been employed as a deputy in the recorder’s office since January 2001. She is a member of the Association of Indiana Counties, the Indiana Recorder's Association and the Republican Women's Club. She has also completed the AIC’s diploma program. She lives in the Warsaw area with her husband, Ronald, and their two dogs. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren. She attends Warsaw Wesleyan Church.
