Mitchell ‘Mickey’ A. BlankenshipMitchell “Mickey” A. Blankenship, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully in his residence surrounded by his family on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, at the age of 74.

Born on March 24, 1947, in Blackey, Va., he was the son of Alberta Blankenship. Mickey married the love of his life, Donna Camden, on Oct. 27, 1967, and together raised their two children. He worked as a body and fender repairman at C & M Body Shop for over 30 years up until his retirement.

He learned to play guitar by sound not from reading music. He loved to listen to oldies, bluegrass and country music. Mickey had many hobbies such as woodworking and watching old westerns. He also enjoyed and owned motorcycles and snowmobiles.

Those who survive to cherish memories of him are his wife of 54 years, Donna; children: Robin (Curtis Harris) Blankenship, of Silver Lake; and Mitchell (Liz) Blankenship Jr., of Middlebury; grandchildren: Kyndra, Mitchell III, Brooke and Steven; brother: Patrick (Bonnie) Campbell, of Vinton, Va.; and sister, Mary (Keith) Ogden, of Amherst, Va. He is preceded in death by his mother; brother, Randall Campbell; and great-grandson, Theo Blankenship.

Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family. Friends and family may gather for visitation on Friday, Dec. 10 at Bethel Baptist Church, 1109 W. Market St., Pierceton, from 3 until 6 p.m. with a Life Celebration® at 6 p.m.
