On Father's Day morning, I received a note on my door that read, "Miss Daisy is no longer with us." She was found Sunday morning, at the end of the block with a broken neck and feet. She had resided in Westhaven Estates for several years.
Since the 4th of July is soon approaching, Miss Daisy had been dressed for the occasion. She was wearing her nice patriotic outfit of red, white and blue with her matching hat.
Attention: To the persons who removed Miss Daisy from her property and dropped her,
Since you stole a concrete 100-pound goose sitting in the front yard next to the home, what is next? Do you plan on carrying off the entire mobile home soon?
She may have seemed like a silly white goose with a yellow beak and feet to you; but to us, she was special. She had been given to us by a good friend, who is no longer here.
